Dien Bien Province solemnly held a memorial service and burial for 12 remains of soldiers who died for international duty in Laos. The ceremony was attended by Major General Nguyen Hong Thai, Deputy Political Commissar, Head of the 515 Steering Committee of Military Region 2; representatives of the National 515 Steering Committee; the Consulate General of Vietnam in Luang Prabang, and delegates from the Special Task Force of six northern Lao provinces.
