  • Cherry blossoms are a type of flower originating from Japan and are greatly loved in that country. Therefore, when mentioning cherry blossoms, most people immediately think of the Land of the Rising Sun. However, few are aware that in Dien Bien, there is also a beautiful cherry blossom oasis, attracting tourists from all over.

  • Coincidentally when hundreds of cherry blossom trees on the flower island of Pa Khoang commune, Dien Bien Phu city bloomed brilliantly on the occasion of the Lunar New Year of the Rabbit in 2023. Therefore, flower island is a spring destination chosen by many people and tourists on the occasion of the new year.

  • Pha Din Pass is about 32km long and peaks at 1,648m above sea level, linking the two provinces of Dien Bien and Son La. The name of the pass originates from the language of Thai ethnic minority group, meaning the place where ‘sky’ and ‘land’ meet. It is one of the four most famous passes in Vietnam’s northwest which is famous for its craggy and dangerous curves, bringing a majestic beauty but also full of poetic and seductive charm.

  • Che Can Village is located more than 30km from Dien Bien Phu city, Che Can is an attractive community-based tourist destination for tourists when coming to Muong Phang commune, Dien Bien Phu city, Dien Bien province.

  • Placed at Dien Bien Phu Historical Victory Museum, the artwork, featuring 4,500 characters, is a panorama of the Dien Bien Phu battlefield at different times from late 1953 to May 7, 1954. the Panorama painting of "historic Dien Bien Phu victory" is still rushing to complete to serve visitors. This is considered a breakthrough work, a miracle of Vietnamese art.
