Muong Phang Victory Monument Cluster.

Located 300m northeast of the Headquarters of Dien Bien Phu Campaign, Muong Phang Victory Park was the place where our soldiers and people joyfully held a military parade to celebrate the victory on May 13^th, 1954. Prominent in the campus of Victory Park, a cluster of monuments is assembled by green stone slabs from Thanh Hoa Province, including 25 characters representing the forces participating in Dien Bien Phu Campaign. In the middle is the image of General Vo Nguyen Giap solemnly reading a letter from President Ho Chi Minh praising the soldiers, citizens, young volunteers, and people of the Northwest for the glorious victory and the daily order to welcome the great victory of Dien Bien Phu. This is a destination not to be missed when coming to Muong Phang and is often called by the locals with the familiar name of "Congratulation Monument"./.
