Dien Bien Phu Victory Monument, a symbol of victory, peace and unity, is located on top of Hill D1 in the center of Dien Bien Phu City. The work was built and inaugurated in 2004 on the occasion of the 50^th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Historic Victory.

This is the tallest, largest, and heaviest group of bronze statues in Vietnam, weighing over 200 tons. With a beautiful location for an ideal height to observe and admire the city, Dien Bien Phu Victory Monument is one of the attractive attractions for tourists. It is considered as a park of peace, cooperation, and development.
