Dien Bien Airport prepares to welcome Airbus A321 aircraft

After a period of temporary shutdown for upgrades and repairs, Dien Bien airport will officially test its first flight on November 30 with the modern Airbus A321 aircraft of Vietnam National Airlines (Vietnam Airlines).

The modern Airbus A321 aircraft line will be operated at Dien Bien Airport.

According to Mrs. Luong Thi Mai, Head of Branch of Vietnam Airlines Corporation - Northern Region Joint Stock Company (Vietnam Branch): To welcome the opening event of Dien Bien Airport, with a 2,400m long runway, Vietnam Airlines will operate this route using Airbus A321 aircraft. This is the aircraft line used by the airline to operate on Asian routes and domestic routes. Vietnam Airlines' A321 fleet has 3 configurations: 178 seats, 184 seats and 203 seats.

After the test flight, from December 2, Vietnam Airlines will operate regular flights Hanoi - Dien Bien, with a frequency of 7 flights/week on all days of the week. The flight departs from Hanoi at 13:05 and arrives in Dien Bien at 14:05; Departing from Dien Bien at 2:45 p.m., landing in Hanoi at 3:35 p.m.

Also according to Mrs. Mai, welcoming the new look of Dien Bien airport, Vietnam Airlines has launched preferential round-trip ticket prices (including taxes and fees) from Hanoi to Dien Bien, Economy class is only from 725,000 VND and Business class is only from 1,909,000 VND. Tickets are on sale from now until December 28, applicable for flights departing from December 2 to December 28./.
