Position and Functions

- The Office of the Provincial People's Committee is a specialized agency which directly assists the Provincial People's Committee.

- The Office of the Provincial People's Committee is in charge of assisting the Provincial People's Committee  to co-ordinate activities of all province-level departments and branches (generally called as departments), People's Committee of Dien Bien Phu City and districts; performing consultancy work and assisting the Provincial People's Committee and Provincial People's Committee Chairman to direct and manage local activities; ensuring material and technical conditions for activities of the Provincial People's Committee and Provincial People's Committee Chairman.

- Office of the Provincial People's Committee has legal status, its own seal and account at State Treasury.
