The Embassy of the Philippines paid a courtesy visit to the Leaders of Dien Bien Provincial People's Committee

During a working visit to Dien Bien province, on the afternoon of June 26, Mr. Meynardo LB. Montealegre, Ambassador of the Republic of the Philippines to Vietnam, led the delegation and paid courtesy calls and had an exchange with leaders of the People's Committee of Dien Bien province. Receiving the Ambassador and the delegation were Mr. Pham Duc Toan, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

Mr. Pham Duc Toan expressed his pleasure in welcoming Mr. Meynardo LB. Montealegre to visit and work in Dien Bien. He also briefly introduced some economic and social achievements of the province in recent times and highlighted several potential development areas such as agricultural production, historical tourism, and experiential tourism.
