- Department of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs is a specialized agency under supervision of the Provincial People’s Committee; functioning as the state management agency on employment, vocational training, labor, salary, social insurance (compulsory social insurance, voluntary social insurance, unemployment insurance), industrial safety, people with merit, social sponsor, children protection and caring, gender equality, social evils prevention (generally called as labor, people with merit, and society), and public services under Department’s management in accordance with Vietnamese law. In addition, Department implements other duties according to the Provincial People’s Committee’s authority and Vietnamese law.
