Dien Bien: Launching the planting of 1,200 Ban flowers around the cross-border areas

On August 25, the Women’s Union of Dien Bien province coordinated with the Provincial Border Guard Command to hold a launching ceremony to to plant 1,200 Ban flowers in the cross-border areas in Sin Thau commune, Muong Nhe district, Dien Bien province.

1,200 Ban flower trees were planted on the way to the crossroads of the Viet Nam-China-Laos border crossing.

This is an activity to practically respond to the implementation of the Project "Planting 1 billion trees in the 2021-2026 period" of the Prime Minister and the Resolution of the Standing Board of Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee on the protection and development of Ban flowers, cherry blossom trees in Dien Bien province; concretize the content of the coordination plan between the two units on organizing the implementation of the Program "Accompanying border women" for the period of 2021-2025.
Thereby encouraging and motivating cadres, soldiers and officers, women's members and people in border areas to actively participate in planting, caring for and protecting trees, creating a unique highlight contributing to attracting visitors and economic development, at the same time building landscape, green-clean-beautiful environment.

After the launching ceremony, the delegates, officers and soldiers of A Pa Chai Border Station and members of the Women's Union of Sin Thau commune, Muong Nhe district organized the planting of Ban flower trees on the way to the crossroads of the Vietnamese border Viet Nam-China-Laos with a length of nearly 14km./.
